The University of Louisville’s basketball exhibition game against Division II Young Harris College was a dominant display by the Cardinals, showcasing their superior talent and depth. Louisville controlled the game from the start, with a fast-paced offense and aggressive defense. Key players demonstrated solid individual performances, with a mix of veteran leadership and promising contributions from newcomers. Though the competition level from Young Harris wasn’t as high, the game allowed Louisville to test different lineups and refine their game plan ahead of the regular season. It was a promising warm-up, though real challenges lie ahead.
The Cards were led in scoring by Terrence Edwards Jr. who poured in 24 pts. Reyne Smith added 20 pts while hitting 6-8 from behind the arc. Louisville made 24 three pointers as a team setting a program record.
