Louisville Football tops UK, 41-14

The Louisville Cardinals dominated the Kentucky Wildcats 41-14 in their recent matchup. This win marked Louisville’s first Governor’s Cup victory since 2017. The Cardinals’ impressive performance was led by running back Isaac Brown, who rushed for a season-high 178 yards and 2 touchdowns. Louisville’s coach, Jeff Brohm, improved his record to 18-8 at Louisville and 84-52 overall. The Cardinals finished their regular season with an 8-4 mark, securing their third straight season with at least 8 wins. In contrast, Kentucky struggled, with quarterback Cutter Boley being largely ineffective before getting hurt early in the second half. The Wildcats finished their season with a 4-8 record, their worst since Mark Stoops’ first season.
