Louisville blasted out to a 16–0 start, completely controlling the opening minutes and putting Indiana in an early hole they never fully escaped. The Cardinals’ balanced scoring was the story of the game — five players hit double figures, led by Ryan Conwell’s 21 points and Isaac McKneely’s five made threes.
Indiana’s Tucker DeVries poured in 26 points, but much of his production came from the free-throw line as Louisville’s defense held the Hoosiers to just 41% shooting and forced 13 turnovers. Indiana fought back to cut the deficit several times, but every surge was met with a Louisville answer from deep or at the foul line.
Next up Louisville returns home to play the Memphis Tigers on Dec. 13 at 3:30pm at the KFC Yum! Center.
