Louisville turned in a statistically dominant performance in its win over Vermont, using efficiency on both ends of the floor to secure a decisive result.

Rebounding proved to be another key factor. Louisville controlled the glass with a 42–29 advantage, including 14 offensive rebounds that led to 16 second-chance points. Vermont managed just 6 offensive boards, limiting its ability to generate extra scoring opportunities.

Turnovers further tilted the game in Louisville’s favor. The Cardinals forced 18 Vermont turnovers and converted them into 22 points. Louisville, meanwhile, committed only 10 turnovers, demonstrating strong ball security and disciplined playmaking throughout the game.

Individually, Louisville featured a balanced scoring effort, with four players finishing in double figures. Mackenly Randolph had a team high 20 points and 11 rebounds. Tajianna Roberts finished with 12 points.

For Vermont, Kiera Hanson finished with 22 points. As a team, Vermont struggled to find consistent rhythm, particularly in the half court, where Louisville’s defense forced contested looks late in the shot clock.

At the free-throw line, Louisville converted 15-of-18 attempts (83.3%), compared to Vermont’s 11-of-16 (68.8%), further highlighting the Cardinals’ efficiency.
