Roscelle Griffin

Owner/photographer

Meet Roscelle “Ro” Griffin, a talented female photographer hailing from the picturesque town of Johnson City, Tennessee, she has made a name for herself as a dedicated capturer of nature’s beauty and athletic prowess. Born with an innate eye for capturing breathtaking moments, Ro’s passion for photography blossomed during her time as a student-athlete at the University of Louisville, where she excelled as a women’s basketball player. Her goal? To craft photographs that transport viewers into a world where boldness and excitement reign supreme, where subjects stand out and radiate.

Ro is combining her love for both sports and visual storytelling to launch her own media company, 502 Media Now. Named after the area code of her now Louisville home, the company specializes in videography and photography, with a strong focus on showcasing the dynamic world of sports.

While her lens often focuses on the natural world and athletes in action, Roscelle’s photography repertoire extends far beyond. Real estate, headshots, weddings, and events have all been within her creative grasp.

Yet, Roscelle’s journey into photography wasn’t a mere coincidence; it was a heartfelt gift from her grandmother. Growing up in the somewhat limited landscapes of Johnson City, Tennessee, she found solace and fascination in the art of capturing moments. Her grandmother kick-started her passion with a Polaroid camera, opening her eyes to the magic of preserving timeless memories. Roscelle holds a deep gratitude for that initial spark.

Beyond her lens, another essential facet of Roscelle’s life revolves around her daughter. She’s determined to instill in her the value of creativity and the joy of discovery, believing these qualities to be cornerstones of a fulfilled life.

The true reward of Roscelle’s photographic endeavors lies in the smiles of her clients when they receive their cherished photos. Her aspiration is clear: to create images that will be adored and treasured for years to come.
