The University of Louisville football team continued its strong 2025 campaign with a 38–24 victory over Boston College on Saturday night at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium. The win improved the Cardinals to 6–1 overall and 3–1 in ACC play, keeping them firmly in the conference title conversation.
Running back Isaac Brown delivered a breakout performance, rushing for a career-high 205 yards on just 14 carries, including a pair of long runs that set the tone early and sealed the game late. Quarterback Miller Moss accounted for three total touchdowns — passing for one and rushing for two — while throwing for 187 yards.
Louisville’s offense was at its best on the ground, piling up 317 rushing yards and averaging over eight yards per carry. On defense, the Cardinals forced two key turnovers and held the Eagles scoreless in the fourth quarter to preserve the win.
Boston College quarterback Grayson James threw for 244 yards and three touchdowns, but the Eagles couldn’t recover from several explosive plays by the Louisville offense.
Head coach Jeff Brohm praised his team’s ability to respond after a slow start:
“We didn’t play perfect football, but we showed resilience. The explosive plays made the difference tonight.”
The Cardinals now look ahead to another pivotal ACC matchup next week as they continue their push toward postseason contention.
Final Score: Louisville 38, Boston College 24
Record: Louisville (6–1, 3–1 ACC) | Boston College (1–7, 0–5 ACC)
