The Louisville Cardinals women’s basketball team just secured a thrilling 69-60 upset over the No. 13 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. This win marks a significant milestone for Louisville, as they took advantage of 16 Georgia Tech turnovers to seal the deal. Freshman guard Tajianna Roberts led the Cardinals with a team-high 16 points, while Georgia Tech’s Kara Dunn had 18 points. Louisville’s strong performance was highlighted by their ability to convert turnovers into points, scoring 22 points off Georgia Tech’s giveaways.
This victory brings Louisville’s record to 12-5 overall and 5-1 in the ACC. They’ll look to continue their momentum in their next matchup against Syracuse on Thursday.
