The Louisville Cardinals volleyball team faced off against the Pitt Panthers at the KFC Yum! Center in front of 12,510 fans. Pitt took the win, beating Louisville 3-1. This victory marked Pitt’s fourth straight win over Louisville. Pitt’s win was led by standout performances from their key players. Torrey Stafford finished with 17 kills and 13 digs, while Olivia Babcock had a season-high 23 kills. Pitt’s strong starts in the first, third, and fourth sets were also crucial in securing their win. This victory not only showcased Pitt’s strength but also clinched at least a share of the ACC Title for the sixth season in the past eight years.
Louisville was led by senior standout Anna DeBeer who had 14 kills, nine digs and three aces. Cara Cresse and Phekran Kong had strong performances at the net with four blocks each.
The Cards go on the road to take on No. 6 Stanford on November 30th at 4pm EST.
