The Louisville women’s basketball team took on Morehead State today, and it was a blowout win for the Cardinals! They defeated the Eagles 107-70. Louisville had a strong shooting game, with 62.9% from the floor and 16-27 from three-point range. Imari Berry led the team with 21 points, three rebounds, and three assists. Tatiana Roberts, Isla Juffermans and Jayda Curry each scored 11 points for Louisville.
The game was close in the first quarter with Louisville only leading by one, 28-27. However, the Cardinals pulled away in the second quarter and never looked back. Morehead State was led by Aileen Marquez who had 20 points and Harley Paynter added 19 points.
The Cards are on the road for their next game as they head to Orlando to take on South Florida on Sunday, November 24th.
