In a historic moment for the Louisville Women’s Basketball program, the team secured its 1,000th victory by defeating Duke 61-44. The Cards improve to 13-2 and 2-0 in ACC play.
Louisville dominated most of the game and led 35-19 at the half. Kiki Jefferson led the team with 15 points and 4 rebounds. Olivia Cochran continued her consist play scoring in double figures for the seventh straight game. Merissah Russell scored 10 points and played valuable minutes in the victory.
The Cards will take on Pittsburgh on the road January 11th at 6pm ET. The game will be televised on the ACC Network
